It’s hard to find holiday cheer when you’re far away from home, and for so many military families, it will be another long distance Christmas. That’s the case for Samantha Hoversten and her two children, Kaydence and Maverick.

Decorating the Christmas tree every year is one of Katie’s favorite things, and finding the perfect tree is definitely her second favorite. Last weekend she took my dogs Maisy and Cooper on her annual trek to pick out her perfect tree.
