Whether she’s shucking oysters, seducing a baseball player or cruising in a convertible, Susan Sarandon has managed to be both hot and cool throughout the years. She’s smart and sexy, and at 66-years-old, she’s showing no signs of slowing down. She sat down with Katie to reflect on her sensational career and how far she’s come.

At 63-years-old, Susan found herself single again after her 2009 split from actor Tim Robbins. Although the two were together for 23 years, had two boys together and owned property, they never got married. Susan spoke candidly about the institution of marriage and why she felt it never seemed right for her.

Susan has two big movies opening soon. “Cloud Atlas” opens in theaters on October 26th and “The Big Wedding” is due out later this spring. And while Susan’s career continues to blossom with age, older actresses have been complaining for years about the dirth of good roles for women after 40. Susan opened up about women and their opportunities in film.
