200 million girls never go to school. One in seven girls in developing countries is married off before she’s 15. HIV/AIDS is the leading cause of death for women between 15 and 49. March 8 is International Women’s Day, a global event to celebrate women and raise awareness of the issues they face each day. We’re celebrating Women’s Day a little early with Christy Turlington, Christiane Amanpour and others who share on today’s show what they’re doing to make life better for girls around the world.
