Annie is hands down/jazz hands up, one of my all time favorite musicals — so I was jumping for joy (and practicing “Maybe” in the shower) when I found out that it was coming back to Broadway this year! Today on Katie, it’s a reunion of redheaded proportions when “original Annies” Andrea McArdle, Broadway’s first, and the star of the 1982 film, Aileen Quinn join the cast of the 35th anniversary revival in our studio. The latest little orphans and Annie, played by 11-year-old Lilla Crawford, take the Katie stage for preview performances of our most beloved songs from the classic show.
