This fund has been set up to assist the Mark and Jackie Barden in their time of need. It will help cover whatever expenses, now or future, that come as a result of this tragedy. It has been vetted by CNN and is listed as an approved fund on CNN.com.

Ana Grace Fund

Founded in honor of Nelba Marquez Greene and Jimmy Greene’s daughter, Ana Grace Márquez-Greene.

Friends and supporters have established the fund as a way to provide direct financial assistance to the immediate family of Ana Grace Márquez-Greene, a victim of the December 14, 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut.

Chase Kowalski Memorial Fund

The wish of Chase’s family is to remember Chase’s vitality and spirit and that of all of the victims. All of the donations made will go to help the Sandy Hook Elementary families – both victims and survivors – that have been affected by this tragedy. The vision is to inspire change across our American communities to ensure our children are safely protected from something like this ever happening again. We will begin by enabling initiatives focused on children, family, healing and school safety that will positively change the lives of children and their families in our local community. Lauren Rousseau Memorial Scholarships

Lauren Rousseau Memorial Scholarship at Danbury High School: Founded by Gilles Rousseau and Joyce Rousseau for their daughter/step-daughter, Lauren. It will be awarded to a graduating senior at Danbury High School, where Lauren graduated in 2000, who will attend the University of Connecticut seeking to major in elementary education. Contributions can be sent to DHS Scholarship Fund, c/o Nancy Golden, 43 Clapboard Ridge Rd, Danbury, Ct 06811 with the memo line denoting Lauren Rousseau Memorial Scholarship.

Lauren Rousseau Memorial Scholarship: A second scholarship has been started by several of Lauren’s professors at the University of Bridgeport. She graduated from the University of Bridgeport School of Education with a Masters degree in 2005. The Avielle Foundation

The Avielle Foundation has been created to bring about change in the hope of honoring Avielle and all the others that have fallen to such senseless violence. The goal of the Foundation is to prevent violence through mental health research and fostering community. The Avielle Foundation will work directly with world leaders in these fields toward understanding and change.
