Katie gives back
When Hurricane Sandy hit … it hit Hoboken, New Jersey hard. A quarter of the city was flooded, including 1,700 homes and dozens of public buildings, including the Boys and Girls Club on Jefferson Street. That club is an after-school refuge for hundreds of kids, and four feet of water and gasoline threatened to shutter its doors forever. With the help of Lowe’s, HGTV/the DIY Network, Scholastic, Radio Shack … we all came to the rescue.
