  • The United Way Hurricane Sandy Recovery Fund - Make a $10 donation by texting “RECOVERY” to 52000

  • The Salvation Army - Donate food, water, or supplies by texting “STORM” to 80888

  • NY Cares- Thousands of New Yorkers need your help now. Support our relief efforts by volunteering or donating today.

  • UJA Federation-The United Jewish Appeal Federation is hosting many worthwhile projects to alleviate some of the suffering of New Yorkers who are still without power, food, and other necessities.

  • Soul Kitchen – Learn more about Jon Bon Jovi’s Soul Kitchen and how you can help him help others

  • Friends of Firefighters - Friends of Firefighters is dedicated to addressing the physical, mental health, and wellness needs of New York City’s firefighters and their families.

  • As seen on today’s show, the Empire State Relief Fund is dedicated to providing resources to help recover from Hurricane Sandy and rebuild and restore homes. Donate to the Empire State Relief Fund here.

  • Scholastic is donating one million books to schools and libraries hardest hit by Sandy. Submit an application for the Hurricane Sandy Book Grant by December 31.
